SMIDDY 2026

SMIDDY is a one-day meeting focused on the mathematical, computational, and statistical modeling of infectious diseases. It brings together researchers from across Switzerland and neighboring countries, spanning fundamental research to public health policy-making.

This edition of SMIDDY promises to be a special event. We are excited to welcome two excellent keynote speakers — Professor Rachel Lowe and Professor Justin Lessler – as well as a special guest panel of public health decision makers that apply and interpret modeling evidence in their everyday work. We anticipate that the conference will take place from 9 am to 5:30 pm, followed by a networking apero event on-site.
